Kurt Schmitz is Vice President, Commercial Team Leader for Huntington Vendor Finance’s Healthcare segment. Kurt brings over 25 years of experience in the equipment finance industry with an expertise in providing finance solutions for manufacturers/distributors and their customers. He began his finance career at VGM Financial Services in 1998 which was acquired by TCF National Bank in 2004 and recently merged with The Huntington National Bank in 2021.  Throughout his career Kurt has been helping home medical equipment (HME) providers acquire equipment via equipment financing.  Kurt and his wife Melissa reside in Waterloo and have raised three boys who are University of Northern Iowa alumni just like their father.
