Can I bring a guest?

Only if they buy a guest pass. This will give them access to social events ONLY—educational sessions and classes are not included. An attendee pass allows only the holder (you) entrance.

General

Is there a dress code?

We recommend business casual while attending Heartland events. Iowa summers can also be pretty warm—while the conference centers are fairly cold—so layers while at the conference are ideal.

General

Are classes recorded?

No, the 2020 Heartland Conference will not record classes and sessions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

General

How do I set up a VGM tour?

Signs will be displayed directing you to signup for the VGM tours. A VGM employee will reserve a spot on the shuttle for you to get you to our headquarters.

Has Coronavirus caused cancellation of the conference?

Heartland Conference 2020 is still planned for June 15-17 in Waterloo, Iowa.

How are you monitoring the Coronavirus situation?

The health and safety of the VGM Heartland community of attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff is our highest priority. VGM Heartland is closely monitoring the latest government recommendations and announcements related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact to our conference. Currently we are making no changes to our conferences plans.

Are refunds available if I register and the conference is cancelled?

We believe our existing registration refund policy, full refund provided when notified by May 26, provides ample time for attendees to plan to attend and adjust as needed with any future developments.

How will you communicate any new updates regarding Coronavirus and Heartland Conference?

VGM Heartland is committed to communicating with our community as new developments arise in this rapidly evolving situation. Please look for our next planned update on Wednesday, April 1.  Should developments arise in the meantime, we will keep our community informed.
