Carrie Proffitt is a Respiratory Therapist and Operations Executive with over two decades of experience (23 years). Carrie has spent the last 19 years working in the HME and SNF industry both in the US and globally developing outcomes-driven respiratory programs, protocols, and software to elevate the standard of respiratory care provided. Throughout her career, she has won several awards including being named the Long-Term Care Respiratory Therapist of the Year for the American Association of Respiratory Care. She clinically managed the only sub-acute program to receive the American College of Chest Physicians – Center of Excellence Award. Carrie now serves as the VP of Clinical Operations for Encore Healthcare and as both a regulatory surveyor and consultant for the ACHC
