Wayne started his career in the home medical equipment industry in 1990 when he went to work for Pride Mobility Products. He began as a regional sales manager and continued to be promoted and assume new responsibilities that included legislative affairs. Wayne was promoted to Director of Rehab Industry Affairs and began working exclusively with complex rehab companies and was appointed to the National Coalition of Rehab and Assistive Technology (NCART) board of directors. Wayne left Pride Mobility Products to work on a congressional campaign in 2008. After the campaign he went to work for a group purchasing organization. The MED Group was purchased by a larger healthcare GPO and Wayne was asked to lead their legislative efforts across many post-acute care industries. He completed his MBA in healthcare at Baylor University and assumed a new position with MK Battery in sales, marketing, and legislative affairs. After a successful period with MK Battery, Wayne was asked to lead NCART and is very excited to be working exclusively with complex rehab manufacturers, providers, and the individuals we serve who use CRT equipment.
